December 20. Antigua, Guatemala. Part 1 of 4.

Ciel arranged for the four of us plus Rita, a crew member, Bob, a ship entertainer, and Bob's sister Debbie, to rent a van to take us to Antigua. Since we were going to be in Guatemala over night, we decided to spend the night in Antigua.

After a one and three-quarter hours drive, we arrived in Antigua, looked around, and checked out the gorgeous Santo Domingo Hotel. This a 5 star hotel. Desmond Tutu and his family stayed here.

Creative succulent Christmas tree.

Look at those hanging orchids!

The "ruins" of an old convent.
